Atlantic Track's Transit Division was created in response to an ever-changing market place. We partnered with leading manufacturers to form a team of companies to supply a complete package of products to transit systems and the contractors who build them.

Contact Rail Atlantic Track offers a wide range of contact rail used for power transmission in transit systems from the traditional 150-lb. rail to the more advanced 85AS and 84C composite rail sections.

Insulators Whether you require molded fiberglass or porcelain, Atlantic Track has the right insulator for you. Designs are available in various heights with different base designs and can accommodate the many types of contact rail currently in use. Atlantic Track will custom design and manufacture insulators to meet your specific requirements.

Coverboard Pultruded fiberglass coverboards come in many different shapes and sizes. While lightweight fiberglass coverboards are both strong and durable, UV protection can be added to give our coverboards even longer life when required. A wide range of engineering and testing services are available to ensure that your specific needs are met.

Brackets for holding the coverboards in place are available in designs to match the requirements of your third rail, coverboard and insulator system. Brackets can be manufactured with molded fiberglass or fabricated metal. Our transit specialists will work with your engineers to develop a bracket that is right for you.

Grating and Hand Railing Atlantic Track is a full-line supplier of fiberglass grating and hand railing. Transit systems use Duragrid® fiberglass grating because it is anti-skid, non-corrosive, non-conductive and does not deform or warp. Fiberglass has high fatigue and impact resistance, does not chip and is non-sparking. It is also available with low smoke and low toxicity resins for added safety. Panels are pre-fabricated for easy installation. Hand railing is available either round or square and is designed for easy installation. Atlantic Track supplies a complete line of third rail accessories. We custom design and manufacture shims, sleeves and collars to further insulate your third rail or standard rail system. These products are available in a range of materials, shapes, and sizes to meet even the most exacting specifications. We also offer expansion joints, anchor assemblies and end approaches designed to meet your requirements.
